The Governor of Alexandria is looking into increasing ambulance coverage on highways to increase response rates

Lieutenant General Ahmed Khaled Hassan Said, Governor of Alexandria, received Dr. Amr Rashid, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Ambulance Authority, at the governorate’s general office, today, Friday.

Cooperation between the two sides

The two sides reviewed ways to strengthen the ambulance system in Alexandria Governorate, to ensure the provision of decent ambulance service to the people of Alexandria and its visitors, as Dr. Amr Rashid explained that Alexandria is the governorate that witnessed the birth of the Egyptian Ambulance, – specifically – in 1902, which is a strong indication of the value and status of Alexandria Governorate’s historical status of the ambulance system.
