The village of Al-Gharira, affiliated with the Esna Center, south of Luxor Governorate, witnessed an unfortunate incident in which a young man in his twenties attempted to end his life by cutting the tendons in his hand with a sharp object because he was going through psychological distress.

The Luxor Security Directorate received a report from the Rescue Police stating that a young man in his twenties had attempted to end his life by cutting the tendons in his hand with a sharp object because he was experiencing psychological distress.
Police cars, ambulances, and relevant agencies immediately rushed to the scene of the accident, where it was discovered that a 25-year-old young man had cut the tendons in his hand with a sharp object in his home.
The ambulance facility quickly transferred the young man to Taiba Specialized Hospital in Esna, affiliated with the Health Care Authority, to quickly save his life and receive the necessary treatment.
The authorities of the Luxor Security Directorate prepared the necessary report on the incident and notified the investigating authorities to initiate investigations.
