Major General Mohamed Hamed Hashem, Director of New Valley Security, received a report that a private car had overturned on the Kharga-Assiut road, in which 6 people from one family were traveling. The accident resulted in the death of Omar Sobhi Abd Rabbo, 40 years old, Omnia Ali Saeed, 35 years old, and Ali Saeed Abdullah, 70 years old. , Muhammad Omar Baraka, 65 years old, Adam Omar Sobhi, 11 years old, in a coma, Nour Omar Sobhi, 8 years old, in a coma.
Ambulances were dispatched to the site of the accident and the injured and deceased were transferred to Assiut Governorate hospitals.
