Cairo 24 learned from its sources that Al-Ahly’s agreement with Ceramica Cleopatra includes the final sale of Ahmed Qandousi for $600,000, to be paid in two installments.
According to what the sources revealed, the first installment will be worth $300,000, which Al-Ahly will receive immediately after signing the contracts, while the second installment will be $300,000 in December 2025.
Al-Ahly previously announced the permanent sale of Ahmed Qandousi, against the backdrop of his recent statements against Amir Tawfiq The club’s former contracting director, after the investigations into him by legal affairs were completed.
Algerian Ahmed Qandousi sparked widespread controversy in recent days after his statements regarding Al-Ahly imposing specific agents on players.
Qandousi said: I am not sad that Ben Ramadan preferred me to return to Al-Ahly, and if Zinedine Belaid joined Al-Ahly, he would be the best in the Egyptian League, and in order for Al-Ahly to enter, it must go through agents.
He added: Zinedine Belaid’s transfer to Al-Ahly failed because of the agents, and he is a close friend of mine. Belaid refused to change his agent due to the intervention of a certain agent in order for him to move to Al-Ahly, and Belaid stipulated that his transfer to Al-Ahly be completed through his agent.
