The victim’s family added to Cairo 24 that the probate court agreed for the victim’s wife, the police secretary, and guardian of their two minor daughters, to reconcile on the manslaughter charge, while the rest of the charges remained for the player to defend.
The Matrouh Criminal Court, headed by Counselor Ihab Mahmoud, decided to postpone the trial of Ahmed Fattouh, the Zamalek club player, accused of causing the victim’s death, until the November 16 session.
Earlier, the El Alamein Police Department received a report that the accused ran over the victim while crossing the road due to excessive speed, as the accused was a user of hashish. The necessary report was prepared, and the concerned authorities decided to refer the case to the Matrouh Criminal Court.
