The security services in Qena found the decomposed body of a young man inside a canal in front of the Qus power station, south of Qena Governorate.

The beginning goes back to the security services in the Qena Security Directorate receiving a notification from the Qena Ambulance Facility, headed by Dr. Mohamed Fouad, director of the facility, stating that a report had been received that the decomposed body of a young man had been found inside a canal in front of the Qus power station. An ambulance was immediately dispatched to the site of the accident.
Upon moving and examination, it was found that the body of S.A.M., aged 35 years, was found drowned in a canal in front of the Qus power station. The body was transferred to the morgue of Qus Central Hospital at the disposal of the competent authorities.
A report was drawn up regarding the incident and the investigating authorities were notified to complete the investigations, which assigned the Criminal Investigation Department to intensify efforts to uncover the circumstances of the incident.
