Cairo – Mubasher: The Ministry of Transport, represented by the Egyptian Company for Metro Management and Operation, said that it has issued a smart card, which is an electronic ticket wallet for 30 trips with a 50 percent reduction in the value of each trip.
The Ministry explained in a statement issued today, Sunday, that the card will be valid for use during the World Handball Championship Egypt 2021, which will be held in Egypt during the period from January 13 to January 31, 2021 at all metro stations on the three lines.
The company added that the conditions, steps and locations for obtaining the card are as follows:
The card is issued by submitting the tournament ID card and a copy of the stadium entry ticket.
The value of the card is 150 pounds instead of 300 pounds, in addition to 25 pounds as a security deposit. The value of the wallet card is refundable in the event that the fan wishes to return the card, provided that the card is intact and in good condition as it was issued.
The company confirmed that the fan can obtain the card through several ticket offices at a number of stations on the three lines, explained as follows:
Offices of the first line stations (Helwan – Maadi – Anwar Sadat – Gamal Abdel Nasser – Al-Shuhadaa – Al-Qubba Bridge – Al-Qubba Saray).
Offices of the second line stations (Dokki – Opera – Anwar Sadat – Ataba – Shuhadaa).
Offices of the third line stations (Abbasiya – Stadium – Fairgrounds – Heliopolis).
