A short while ago, World Disease Day activities were launched DiabetesThis is part of the activities of the New Beginning Initiative for Human Building, under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Major General Khaled Mubarak, Governor of South Sinai, and in the presence of Dr. Enas Samir, Deputy Governor of South Sinai, Major General Maher Kamel, Secretary-General of South Sinai, and the accountant Ali Hamada, head of the city of Tur Sinai.
World Diabetes Day
The conference discusses diabetes symptoms, prevention and treatment, communication and professional growth among health care and public health workers at the governorate level, in the presence of Senior specialists in the governorate, and a number of people from the governorate.
The conference includes a wide range of sessions, including keynote lectures, oral presentations, poster distribution, seminars and workshops. The conference includes teams for nutritional assessment as well as random screening for diabetes and HbA1c. It is the first conference of its kind to be held in the governorate, and will continue until November 18, 2024.
Dr. Hanan Lashin, Director of the Directorate’s Therapeutic Nutrition Department, told Cairo 24 that the conference aims to spread knowledge about diabetes, its symptoms and complications, as well as to emphasize the importance of early detection of diabetes. It also includes providing support and information to patients and their families on how to manage diabetes effectively, as well as emphasizing The importance of a balanced diet in treating and preventing diabetes.
