The editor-in-chief and all the employees of the institution express their sincere condolences to the Grand Imam, asking God to cover her with his vast mercy, and to inspire him with patience and solace.
In a related context, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, delegated an official delegation to offer condolences to His Eminence the Grand Imam, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, on the death of his older sister, who passed away to God’s mercy in the morning. Today is Wednesday.
The delegation was headed by Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, and included Dr. Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Al Haddad, Chief Mufti and Director of the Fatwa Department at the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai and a member of the Council of Muslim Elders, and His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Al Dhaheri, Director of Mohammed bin Zayed University. For the Humanities, and His Excellency Dr. Yousef Al-Obaidly, Director General of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre.
The delegation expressed the solidarity of the UAE, its leadership and people, with His Eminence the Grand Imam in this great affliction, expressing sincere condolences and sincere condolences to His Eminence the Imam and the honorable family, praying to God – Almighty – to cover the deceased with His vast mercy and to inspire patience and solace in her family.
