Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadiq, President of Cairo University, announced that the Board of Directors of the Private Insurance Fund for Faculty Members and University Workers (Fellowship Fund) has agreed to raise the insurance benefits for members of the Fund from 220 to 250 months, with a maximum of 165 thousand pounds, instead of 150 thousand, and for professors. For full-time employees, it ranges from 75,000 pounds to 85,000 pounds, and for cases of death, the Fund decided to disburse 85,000 pounds.
Dr. confirmed. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadiq, President of the University – after the fund meeting – said that the university administration is keen to provide everything that can contribute to improving the standard of living and income of all its members, in a way that achieves a decent standard of living for them and their families, in appreciation of their giving and dedication to serving the university and the country.
Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel-Sadiq added that the university administration will not hesitate to search for the best means that can help achieve better insurance benefits for faculty members and university workers, to reduce the burden of living and to honor those who gave of their time and effort so generously.
