The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has revealed the shortlist for the FIFA Best Player Award Africa For the year 2024, before the winner is announced at the ceremony scheduled for next Monday in Morocco.

The final list of candidates for the Best Player in Africa award witnessed a three-way competition between Hussein El-Shahat, Al-Ahly player, Ahmed Sayed Zizo, Zamalek player, and Ronwen Williams, Sun Downs goalkeeper.
CAF excluded Mustafa Schubert, Al-Ahly’s goalkeeper, from the final list of players competing for the Best Player in the Continent award.
Date and location of the Best in Africa Awards 2024
Earlier, CAF revealed in an official statement that the Best in Africa Awards ceremony will be held at the Palace of Conferences in the city of Marrakesh, Morocco, on December 16, explaining that the awards ceremony will be held at exactly eight o’clock in the evening Cairo time, nine o’clock Saudi time, and ten o’clock in the evening. Morocco and Tunisia time.
Al-Ahly and Zamalek are competing for the award for the best club in Africa, on the shortlist that included the presence of South African club Sundowns.
Mohamed Salah’s sudden absence from the CAF Best Awards
