The Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion in Cairo mourned the researcher Habib al-Rahman Abdel Hakim from Bangladesh, a doctoral researcher in the Department of Interpretation and Qur’anic Sciences at the college, who passed away yesterday.

On the other hand, Dr. Ramadan Abdullah Al-Sawy, Vice President of Al-Azhar University of Lower Egypt, witnessed the educational symposium at the College of the Holy Qur’an in Tanta, about changing the misconceptions among our university students.

In his speech, the Vice President of the University explained that the Islamic nation is a middle nation with no extremism or fanaticism, and that this nation was described as such: Because it is below the prophets and above the nations, citing the Almighty’s saying: (And thus We have made you a moderate nation that you may be witnesses over the people and that the Messenger may be a witness over you).

He continued: And his saying, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him (Noah will be called on the Day of Resurrection, and he will say: At Your service and I am pleased with you, O Lord. Then he will say: Have you conveyed it? He will say: Yes, O Lord. Then he will say to his nation: Has he conveyed it to you? They will say: No warner has come to us. It will be said: Who will bear witness for you? Then he will say: : Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his nation.. He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: So they will bear witness that he has conveyed the message, and the Messenger will be a witness over them. That is his saying: And thus We have made you a nation. middle, so that you may be witnesses over the people, and the Messenger may be a witness over you, and middle: justice).

He continued: And his saying, may God bless him and grant him peace: “My nation has been given three things to which no one has been given except the prophets.” When God Almighty sent the Prophet, he would say to him: Call on Me, I will respond to you, and he would say to this nation: (Call upon Me, I will respond to you). And when God Almighty sent the Prophet, he would say to him: God has not placed upon you any hardship in religion, and He would say to this nation: (And He has not placed On you Debt is a burden), and when God sent the Prophet, He would make him a witness over his people, and make this nation witnesses over the people.
