Hatem Al-Najeeb, Deputy Head of the Division, said Vegetables And fruits, according to the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, said that the prices of vegetables are witnessing significant declines, ranging between 50-60%.

Al-Naguib indicated, in exclusive statements to Cairo 24, that the prices of tomatoes and potatoes recorded a decline of more than 60%, and the rest of the varieties are witnessing declines ranging between 20-40%, depending on the difference in each variety.
He stated that this is a result of the increase in supply and winter demand, noting that all products are in very large abundance and available in the markets.

- Record price A kilo of tomatoes From 3.5 to 5 pounds per kilo in the wholesale market.
- The price of potatoes ranged from 5 pounds to 12 pounds per kilo in the wholesale market.
- White onions: from 9 pounds to 19 pounds per kilo in the wholesale market.
- Red onions: from 9 pounds to 14 pounds per kilo in the wholesale market.
- Zucchini: from 9 pounds to 15 pounds.
- Carrots: from 4 pounds to 7 pounds.
