Israel and Hezbollah are close to reaching a ceasefire agreement in LebanonAfter the escalation of tensions and recent military confrontations that resulted in material and human losses on both sides.
This development comes after intense diplomatic efforts by regional and international parties aimed at calming the situation and preventing further escalation in the region, after a year of fierce war between the two parties in conjunction with the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Reports indicate that the indirect talks took place under international mediation, with a focus on establishing a framework that ensures calm on the Lebanese-Israeli border, and avoiding further confrontations that might lead to broader repercussions in the region.
