Major General Ibrahim Abu Laymoun Governor revealed Menoufia An illegal store was seized in Al-Bajour, during a surprise inspection campaign in full coordination with the Supply Investigation Department, in order to collect 3 and a half tons of subsidized local flour that is prohibited from being traded in the markets, in order to sift it, recycle it, and repackage it inside bags with the names of mills written on it and sell it as luxury tourist flour, in addition to 3 tons of Nima bran designated for bakeries. It is prohibited to trade it for the purpose of fraud, profit, or illegally seizing support.

A thousand empty checks for subsidized flour, others bearing the names of private mills, two sewing machines, and a sensitive scale were also seized for use in commercial manipulation and fraud.

The seized items were confiscated, seized, and transported to one of Al-Bajour’s warehouses. The Governor of Menoufia stressed the continuation of efforts to launch surprise inspection campaigns in coordination between the security and regulatory agencies to arrest those who manipulate the people’s livelihood, seize the support allocated to them by the state, confront all monopolistic practices, and eliminate the greed of merchants to prevent the exploitation of citizens in order to preserve their rights and interests.
This comes as a continuation of the implementation of the directives of the political leadership to daily monitor the markets, and to deal decisively with any attempt to manipulate or hide goods.
