The Saudi Minister of Investment, Khalid Al-Falih, said: We have launched special economic zones that will incubate qualitative investments in eastern and western Saudi Arabia, and they have begun to achieve achievements.
Al-Falih added: There are a large number of deals worth more than 300 billion riyals in the form of qualitative investments that will contribute to replacing imports and stimulating exports.
For his part, Bandar Al-Khorayef, Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, confirmed during the activities of the second edition of the Local Content Forum 2024 that the percentage of local content at government levels increased from 33% in 2020 to about 47% by the end of the third quarter of this year, and the value of the competitions that took place increased. Local content mechanisms apply to it during the same period for approximately 800 billion riyals.
