The Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade announced In Sohag Launching sudden and intensive supply campaigns in coordination with the local units, the Directorate of Health, Veterinary Medicine, the Supply Investigation Department, and the various supply departments in the governorate department.
This came in implementation of the instructions of Major General Dr. Abdel Fattah Siraj – Governor SohagDr. Sameh Farouk, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in Sohag, Engineer Effat Refaat, Undersecretary of the Directorate for Control and Internal Trade Affairs, and Engineer Mohamed Ibrahim, Undersecretary of the Directorate, in implementation of the instructions to tighten control over municipal, French, and tourist bakeries, gas stations, butane depots, and other commercial activities, and to state the extent of commitment. Those responsible for it through laws and ministerial decisions regulating their trade, controlling prices, combating merchants’ monopoly of goods, and taking legal measures against Violators.
Intensive supply campaigns in Sohag
These intensive ration campaigns in all governorate centers resulted in the seizure and issuance of 223 various ration preparations in the field of bakeries of various types, markets, mills, petroleum stations, and others, with a total of 199 in the field of bakeries, and 24 in the field of markets.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply confirmed In SohagAs a result of the sudden traffic on a large number of municipal bakeries, 49 reports of underweight in the bakery field were issued, 18 reports of non-compliance with specifications, 52 reports of failure to announce operating dates, 2 reports of disposal of share and ration flour, and 17 reports of lack of records. Inside the bakery, 24 reports of the bakery not being clean, 7 reports of cessation of production, and others.
Dr. Sameh Farouk emphasized the quality of the loaf of bread provided to citizens in accordance with the specifications and weights prescribed for it, and the constant concern for the support to reach those who deserve it and to preserve the lives of citizens.
