The city and center of Mallawi witnessed, South of Minya GovernorateDuring the past few hours, a tragic incident occurred when citizens were subjected to a fierce attack by a rabid dog, resulting in 20 people being injured, and they were transferred to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment.
The security services in the Minya Security Directorate received a notification from the Rescue Operations Room about a rabid dog attacking citizens in the Mallawi center. The incident resulted in a number of injuries and they were transferred to the hospital at the disposal of the investigation authorities.

Policemen and ambulances moved to the scene of the incident, and it was found that 20 people had suffered various injuries as a result of being exposed to a ferocious attack by a rabid dog. They were transferred to Mallawi Specialized Hospital to receive the necessary health care and take the vaccine designated for such cases.
Investigations are being intensified by the criminal investigation team to uncover the circumstances of the incident and determine the type of animal that attacked the citizens – whether it was a rabid dog or a slug. A report on the incident was issued and the Public Prosecution took over the investigations and took all necessary legal measures.
