133 contestants will be tested in the Port Said International Holy Quran Memorization Competition tomorrow

The Supreme Organizing Committee announced the competition Port Said The International Committee for Memorizing the Holy Qur’an and Religious Supplication announced the completion of the local competition activities tomorrow, Wednesday, to be the second day of the local qualifiers.

The journalist, Adel Moselhi, the general supervisor and executive director of the competition, explained that the judging team will test tomorrow, Wednesday, 63 female contestants who applied for the entire Qur’an memorization branch, and 70 males and females will be tested in the Hafiz al-Mutaffaqiha branch.

He pointed out that the activities of the second day of the competition will be held at Al-Rahman Mosque within the Al-Zuhur neighborhood in the governorate Port SaidIt starts at nine in the morning, and contestants from all governorates of the Republic participate in it, and a filter is made among them to choose those qualified to represent Egypt in the international competition that will be held in January 2025, and male and female memorizers of the Qur’an from all countries of the world participate in it.

The first day of the competition, which was held today, Monday, witnessed great spirituality, as the judges tested 109 children in memorizing the Qur’an, and among them were contestants who were praised by the committee. The mosque goers and the people of the area enjoyed the good recitation, and the contestants also conducted tours of the commercial markets and tourist areas in the governorate.

It is noteworthy that the Port Said International Competition for Memorizing the Holy Qur’an and Religious Supplication is being held in its eighth session this year, under the patronage of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, under the patronage of Major General Moheb Habashi, Governor of Port Said, and headed by the journalist Adel Moselhi, General Supervisor and Executive Director.
