American social media celebrity Blac Chyna has taken to her Instagram page to announce that her bleaching cream is to sell for N90,000 in Nigeria.
Nigerians have since reacted to the exorbitant cost of the cream since she made the revelation via her Instagram post.
The model and mother of two partnered with beauty brand Whitenicious by Dencia to launch her own cream aimed at restoring the skin’s “natural glow, “reducing” the visibility and intensity of age spots by lightening their appearance.
The 30-year-old social media personality promoted the cream to her Instagram followers from Nigeria ahead of her appearance at the product’s launch in Lagos this weekend.
“Lagos Nigeria, join me at the first official launch of my face cream this Sunday November 25th at the Whitenicious store from 1-5PM. Everyone is invited. @whitenicious”
Following Chyna’s post, fans took to social media to voice their criticism on the product…

Blac Chyna launching a skin bleaching cream is just Blac Chyna doing Blac Chyna things…the real issue here is that it’s being targeted to the Nigerian market and the fact that the villainous product will most likely sell out in Nigeria.

The World Health Organization has reported that Nigerians are the highest users of skin whitening products, a whooping 77% of Nigerian women use skin whitening products on a regular basis. its no brainer why Blac Chyna decided to target the Lagos market first.

My annoyance is not even that Blac Chyna wants to sell bleaching cream in Nigeria, is that she’s selling it at $250 that’s about 90k equivalent in Naira. And guess what?? People are definitely going to buy 🤷🏼♀️
